Unit Categories

Industrial

  • Metric Ton (t): 1,000 kg. Used for shipping, agriculture, and heavy machinery.
  • Quintal (q): 100 kg. Often used in agriculture for crop yields.
  • Kilogram (kg): Base SI unit. Used for daily commercial transactions.

Scientific / Precious

  • Gram (g): 1/1000th of a kg. Standard for cooking and mail.
  • Milligram (mg): 1/1000th of a gram. Used in medicine.
  • Carat (ct): 0.2 grams. Specifically for gemstones and pearls.
  • Vori (Tola): Approx 11.66g. Traditional South Asian unit for gold.
  • Aana: 1/16th of a Vori. Approx 0.729g.
  • Ratti: Traditional unit used for gemstones. Approx 0.1215g.
